How have you grown personally since you have started creating art?
I definitely have gained more patience. When I am working on an art piece and I’m trying to get something perfect, I can spend sometimes 3 hours on fixing one line. It also has effected my mood and even my health.
What artists inspire you the most?
I have always been really inspired by Andy Warhol, one of the original abstract artists. Also, Ralph Steadman, who did the artwork for Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
What is your favorite music to listen to while creating?
I love listening to ambient music mostly, it really lifts and inspires me. There are no words to think about, you are just feeling and expressing the music as it plays.
Do you have a specific mood that allows you to produce your best work?
Not really. It seems like no matter what my mood is, whether I am angry and or happy, I can just get into a state of being numb in a good way while creating. I drift into a zone where time no longer exists.
Is there a particular message you are trying to portray through your art?
My artwork speaks individually piece by piece, but I think if I had a general message as an artist it is to be yourself but be original and never stop trying.
